Lightning hits China Southern Airbus A321 while taxiing, 20 strike marks found

Over the weekend, a China Southern Airlines Airbus A321 operating as flight CZ3209 was struck by lightning while taxiing at Shenzhen airport. The aircraft was bound for the city of Wuxi in China’s eastern Jiangsu province.
Following the lightning strike, the flight was forced to abandon its departure and return to the gate. Post-incident inspections of the aircraft revealed a total of 20 strike marks.
