Lim Tean arrested after being handed over to Singapore police by Malaysian authorities

Singaporean lawyer Lim Tean was arrested after being handed over to Singapore police by Malaysian authorities. The arrest took place in Malaysia last week, and he was transferred to Singapore on Tuesday, August 11.

The handover occurred because Lim failed to surrender to the Singapore courts to begin serving an imposed jail term.
