Lindsay Clancy murder trial draws some 300 US supporters, many of them women: ‘nobody takes us seriously’

Approximately 300 supporters gathered outside a Plymouth, Massachusetts, courthouse on Thursday to demonstrate for Lindsay Clancy, who is currently on trial for the strangulation deaths of her three children. Many attendees wore pink clothing featuring slogans such as “Believe,” “She Needed Help,” and “Peace For Lindsay.”

Clancy’s defense team maintains that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time of the killings. The demonstration highlights a segment of the public advocating for greater awareness and understanding of postpartum mental health issues within the legal system.
