Little wins Democratic primary for open Craig seat as Republicans eye flip in Minnesota

Former Minnesota state Sen. Matt Little has won the Democratic primary for the state’s 2nd Congressional District, according to projections by Decision Desk HQ. Little secured victory in a three-way contest, defeating fellow state Sen. Matt Klein and state Rep. Kaela Berg.

Following his primary win, Little is set to face off against GOP state Sen. Eric Pratt in the upcoming November election. The open seat is currently held by retiring Representative Angie Craig, and Republicans are eyeing the district as a potential pickup opportunity to flip the seat in the fall.
