On Thursday, a group of more than 150 Haitian nationals was deported from the United States and arrived in Haiti. This marks the first group of removals following the United States administration's decision not to renew the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians.
The termination of the program affects a population of more than 300,000 individuals who have transitioned to undocumented status as a result of the policy shift.
