Rains associated with Typhoon Saudel leave one person missing and houses collapsed in southern China

Torrential rains linked to the remnants of Typhoon Saudel have caused significant damage in China's southeastern Fujian province. Authorities report that at least one person is currently missing following the severe weather event.

In addition to the search and rescue efforts, the storms resulted in the collapse of over one hundred residential homes. Localized areas within the province recorded heavy precipitation, contributing to the destruction of property and infrastructure.
