The Instituto Dominicano de Meteorología (Indomet) has forecasted that rainy conditions will persist across multiple localities in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday. According to the meteorological office's official bulletin, the continued precipitation is being driven by the combined passage of a trough, known as a vaguada, and the ongoing incidence of a tropical wave.

Authorities report that the weather pattern is leaving behind significant levels of lingering moisture. This residual humidity is expected to maintain favorable atmospheric conditions for further rainfall throughout the affected regions of the country.
