Ceuta residents once again demand solutions at the border: "A Ceuta native never gives up"

More than a thousand residents of Ceuta mobilized on Sunday near the border with Morocco at El Tarajal to demand solutions to ongoing local issues. The demonstration took place in the area where a mass entry of migrants occurred in late July.

The protest was organized by the Federation of Neighborhood Associations under the rallying cry "Un caballa nunca se rinde" (A Ceutan never surrenders). The local population continues to voice concerns and press authorities for action following the border events from earlier in the summer.
