The four individuals identified met before the attack on Julián Oro Duro

The Dominican National Police have advanced investigations into the attack on merenguero Gilberto Julián Sarante Perd (known as Julián Oro Duro) and the killing of his wife, Zeneida Socorro Castillo, at their residence. According to police spokesman Diego Pesqueira, four individuals identified as responsible for the crime held a meeting in the municipality of La Victoria prior to the assault, after which two of them entered the artist's home. The authorities subsequently arrested the fourth implicated suspect.

In connection with the case, the National Police reported the recovery of evidence including US$33,690, RD$196,500, watches, chains, and other garments. The suspects identified by law enforcement as the alleged perpetrators who entered the dwelling are Kevin Daniel Germán (Kevin) and Lawrence Mark Liranzo Marcos (Chiquito). The merenguero remains hospitalized receiving medical care for injuries sustained during the incident.
