Efforts are focused on the Tírig fire and the lockdown is lifted in Sierra Engarcerán (Castellón)

Extinguishing crews deployed in the province of Castellón have intensified their efforts in the municipality of Tírig amid ongoing wildfire response operations. According to the Provincial Fire Consortium of Castellón, firefighting personnel continue working to combat three forest fires that were declared on August 7 across the province.

The active incidents are located in Tírig, Serra d'en Galceran, and Culla. Authorities confirmed that the fire in Culla has already been brought to a stabilized state, while operations persist at the other affected sites.
