Medical residents (MIRs) are calling for an investigation into the filling of specialist positions by residents in Ceuta.

The Asociación MIR España (AME) has formally requested that the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Health Management (Ingesa) investigate and supervise the assignment of medical residents to cover specialist positions in the emergency departments of Ceuta.

The request, reported on September 28, focuses on regulatory and operational concerns regarding how resident doctors are utilized to staff specialist roles within the autonomous city's healthcare system.
