Rebecca DePaula: the officer who died from breast implant removal

Rebecca DePaula, an officer with the New York Police Department (NYPD), has died following a cosmetic surgery procedure performed in the Dominican Republic. DePaula had traveled to the country to undergo surgery for the removal of breast implants, a procedure she sought to alleviate physical discomfort she had been experiencing.
