Low Sun Blamed in Three-Car Crash on Hellisheiði

On Saturday morning, a three-car collision occurred on Hellisheiði, temporarily closing the road to eastbound traffic. The accident involved a total of 12 people.

Preliminary reports indicate that a low-hanging sun contributed to the crash. One individual sustained minor injuries and was transported to the South Iceland Health Institution for medical evaluation.
