Lowry moves to McIlroy's Boston Common Golf team in TGL's first-ever trade

Shane Lowry has become the first player traded in the history of the TMRW Golf League (TGL). In this milestone transaction, the Irish golfer departs from The Bay Golf Club to join his close friend Rory McIlroy on the Boston Common Golf team.

The move marks a significant roster shift within the newly established indoor golf league. While initial reports detail the team change, BBC Sport specifies that the trade positions Lowry to play alongside McIlroy beginning in the 2027 season.
