Lucky Charms and Trix go au naturel as General Mills ditches artificial colors

General Mills announced on Wednesday that it has successfully removed all artificial colors from its United States cereal portfolio. The company has transitioned to using fruit- and vegetable-based dyes, as well as natural colorings derived from spices such as turmeric and paprika, to maintain the appearance of products like Lucky Charms and Trix.
