Luis Abinader appoints Mariana Tavárez de Santos to the Mercadom

President Luis Abinader of the Dominican Republic has appointed Mariana Tavárez de Santos as the new Director General of the Mercados Dominicanos de Abasto Agropecuario (Mercadom). The appointment was made on Sunday through Decree 552-26.

Tavárez de Santos steps into the role with a background in business administration, bringing professional experience to the leadership of the agricultural supply market institution.
