69% of Cuba will be without power this Saturday due to the energy crisis

On Saturday, Cuba is expected to experience a severe energy crisis with a projected 69 percent of the country simultaneously losing electrical service, according to the state-owned Unión Eléctrica (UNE).

This widespread blackout will severely impact the island's 9.4 million residents, who face an average maximum of only two to three hours of electricity during the day.
