Machado returns to Venezuela after 10 months of exile

Venezuelan opposition leader and 2025 Nobel Peace Prize recipient María Corina Machado returned to Venezuela on Sunday following a 10-month period of exile.

Upon her return, Machado posted a message on the social media platform X stating, "Estoy aquí. With you," translating to "I am here. With you." Her previous departure from the country 10 months prior had occurred under the protection of a U.S. rescue team.
