“Made in Tanzania” brand at the FACIM Fair impresses Mozambique’s former President Nyusi

MAPUTO: THE Former Mozambican President, Filipe Nyusi, has visited the Tanzania Pavilion at the 61st International Trade Fair (FACIM 2026), currently underway in Mozambique, where he viewed a range of Tanzanian products carrying the “Made in Tanzania” brand. During the visit, Nyusi received information about the various products displayed at the Tanzania Pavilion, as well as customs procedures governing trade between Tanzania and Mozambique. The briefing also highlighted how streamlined customs procedures could facilitate trade between the two countries, improve access to Tanzanian products and expand market opportunities for Tanzanian businesses in Mozambique.

Meanwhile, visitors to the Tanzania Pavilion had an opportunity to sample tea and coffee produced in Tanzania and praised the quality of the products. The Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) continues to coordinate Tanzania’s participation in FACIM 2026, with the aim of promoting products under the “Made in Tanzania” brand, expanding market opportunities and connecting Tanzanian businesses with international markets.

FACIM 2026 provides Tanzania with a platform to showcase its products, explore new markets and strengthen commercial relations with investors, businesses and other stakeholders from Mozambique and beyond.
