Maldives unveils $20 billion UAE investment

The government of the Maldives has unveiled a $20 billion investment initiative backed by the United Arab Emirates.

According to an official government statement cited in the coverage, the project is projected to generate over 54,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities over the course of its lifetime.
