HOLYOKE — A police investigation led to the arrest of a Holyoke man accused of shooting someone on Maple Street and then tossing the gun into a dumpster, authorities said.Jose Carrasquillo-Rodriguez, 40, of Holyoke, faces multiple charges, including armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a firearm, several firearms violations, mayhem and four counts of assault and battery on a police officer. A Boston man was arrested in connection with a shooting that left a victim hospitalized.Aahmonyea Platt, a 20-year-old Jamaica Plain resident, was taken into custody on July 24 and charged with assault to murder, according to a Boston police statement.
