Police detained a 28-year-old man under an emergency mental health order the night before he was shot by officers. The hospital chief executive says a review found he received the appropriate care. (KRON) -- A man is charged with attempted murder and other felonies, accused of stabbing a person in the neck during a party in Fremont.

Police identified the suspect as 38-year-old Taylor Maxfield Clausen. The victim received medical treatment at a nearby hospital and will survive.
