Man found dead in South L.A. neighborhood, homicide investigation underway

A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead in a South Los Angeles neighborhood. On July 28, Los Angeles County deputies were called to a death investigation on the 9600 block of Kalmia Street in the Florence-Firestone neighborhood just before midnight. Authorities found the victim, an adult male, dead at the scene.
