The plan behind Los Prados' undefeated 8-0 record in district basketball

The Los Prados basketball club has achieved an undefeated 8-0 record in the current district tournament. The team's success is attributed to a strategic game plan implemented by head coach Carlos Payano, who holds dual Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage.

Analysts have noted that Payano’s tactical approach draws inspiration from Puerto Rican basketball systems, leading to a play on words regarding the club's initials. By shifting the team's identity from the traditional 'LP' to a 'PR' style of play, the coach has successfully unified the roster and maintained their winning streak.
