Zuckerberg stated that people will not want to use models that fail to align with their interests, expressing confidence in market mechanisms and responsibility to guide the technology's trajectory.

Separately, intercommunal violence in the disputed Abyei region between Sudan and South Sudan has resulted in at least 26 deaths and more than 80 injuries. The incident was announced on Thursday by the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei.
