Marlaska dice que los socios de la UE reconocen la respuesta a la crisis de Ceuta y exige a Italia recuperar Schengen

Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska announced that 70,000 of the 72,000 individuals who entered Ceuta during a mass arrival last week have returned to Morocco, with remaining cases under review for potential return. Speaking on August 4, Marlaska emphasized that Spain respects the fundamental rights of both minors and adults involved in the crisis.

At the European level, Marlaska stated that EU counterparts have recognized Spain's immediate and satisfactory response to the migration crisis. Following these discussions, EU and Schengen interior ministers agreed to bolster external borders, enhance return procedures, improve cooperation with third countries, and establish early-warning systems for future events. Additionally, Marlaska called on Italy to restore the Schengen agreement.
