Marlaska condemns Italy's attitude as "selfish," accusing them of using the crisis in Ceuta for "political purposes."

Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska announced on Saturday that the migration crisis in Ceuta, which involved the irregular entry of over 50,000 people, has been successfully reversed within 24 hours. The minister stated that the autonomous city is currently in the process of returning to normal operations.

In the same context, Grande-Marlaska criticized the Italian government for its response to the situation. He accused Italian authorities of acting with selfishness and utilizing the crisis for political gain, specifically citing Italy's proposal to exclude Spain from the Schengen Area. The minister called for increased solidarity and responsibility from European partners in managing migration challenges.
