More than 1,500 university students will compete in Costa Rica: these are the dates and venues for the JUNCOS 2026

Costa Rica will host the 25th edition of the Juegos Universitarios Costarricenses (JUNCOS CONARE 2026), bringing together a total of 1,586 student-athletes from 17 public and private higher education institutions across the country.

The multi-sport collegiate competition is scheduled to take place from October 9 to October 18, highlighting the ongoing tradition of inter-university athletic engagement within the nation's higher education system.
