Más de 21.800 hectáreas ya arrasadas en Ecuador, con 13 incendios activos

Ecuador is currently facing 13 active forest fires and two controlled blazes, according to the latest data from the National Secretariat for Risk Management (SNGR). The ongoing fires have contributed to a total of more than 21,800 hectares of vegetation being destroyed across the country in the current year.

The figures highlight the severity of the wildfire season affecting Ecuador's natural cover. Authorities continue to monitor and manage the active emergency situations as the affected area surpasses the 21,800-hectare threshold.
