Más de 6,000 tortugas protagonizaron una arribada masiva en Panamá

Over 6,100 olive ridley sea turtles arrived at the La Marinera Beach Reserve in Tonosí, Los Santos province, Panama, for a synchronized nesting event. This occurrence marks the second mass nesting, or 'arribada,' recorded in the region this year.

The Ministry of Environment reported that this event represents the largest nesting session documented in recent updates. The phenomenon highlights the ecological significance of the protected coastal zone for the species' reproductive cycle.
