More than 700 young Moroccans are leaving Ceuta due to the lack of safe housing and prospects for accessing asylum.

More than 700 Moroccan migrants who entered Ceuta illegally on July 30 have voluntarily departed the city over the past week. Police sources confirmed that these departures have occurred on a near-daily basis throughout the week.

Simultaneously, hundreds of Ceuta residents held a public demonstration on September 6 to advocate for the protection and rights of children residing in the city. Protesters expressed concern that these minors have been deprived of various rights and protections over the past month.
