Massachusetts state House lawmakers on Wednesday passed a bill loosening restrictions on late-term abortion access. The bill, H.5595, passed 119-33 and will go to the state Senate, state House Speaker Ronald Mariano (D) said in a statement. If it passes the Senate, it will allow abortions after 24 weeks, if approved by a doctor.
