SGR Malagarasi Bridge project thrills Prof Mbarawa

Tanzanian Minister of Transport, Professor Makame Mbarawa, has issued a directive to accelerate the construction of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) project. The instruction specifically targets the development of the Makutopora–Tabora and Tabora–Isaka sections of the rail line.

During an inspection visit held over the weekend, Professor Mbarawa confirmed that 3.67 trillion Tanzanian shillings have been allocated and are currently available to fund the project. The minister's call for increased speed follows his initial assessment of the progress on these specific segments.
