McGrath celebrates European gold, but is already thinking about the Games: "It's my main goal"

Spanish athlete Paul McGrath recently secured the gold medal in the half-marathon race walking event at the European Championships held in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Upon his return to Spain, the Catalan athlete described his continental victory as a dream achievement.

Despite the recent success, McGrath has shifted his focus toward the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. He stated that he is training daily with the Olympics as his primary long-term objective, noting that he previously aspired to reach the podium in Paris two years ago, though he was unable to do so.
