McLaren files trademarks for Remuera and Muriwai ahead of SUV launch

British automotive manufacturer McLaren has filed United Kingdom trademark applications for the Auckland locations Remuera and Muriwai. The filings precede the anticipated launch of the company's first sport utility vehicle (SUV).

Both locations chosen for the trademark applications share a historical connection to Bruce McLaren, the founder of the automotive brand.
