The National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences has confirmed the identification of 279 victims following the August 10 earthquake.
According to Official Statement No. 11, with a cutoff time of 4:00 p.m. on August 15, the total number of identified bodies reached 279 out of the 287 remains received by the forensic institution thus far.
