Resources from Murcia, Castilla La Mancha and the Ministry for Ecological Transition (MITECO) are working to combat a fire in Moratalla

A forest fire broke out on Saturday afternoon in the Cortijo de Jabanas area, located in the municipality of Moratalla, Murcia. Emergency services from both the Region of Murcia and Castilla-La Mancha have deployed a joint response to contain the blaze.

The suppression efforts involve a combination of ground crews and aerial support, specifically utilizing seven helicopters and one airplane. Authorities are currently working to bring the fire under control.
