Meet Major Navya Shekhawat, Army officer serving as President Murmu’s ADC

Major Navya Shekhawat has been appointed as the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to President Droupadi Murmu, making history as the first woman Army officer to hold the position. In this role, she is responsible for assisting the President during formal events and ceremonial duties.

Her appointment follows that of Lieutenant Commander Yashasvi Solanki, marking a continued progression of women officers taking on high-profile ceremonial staff roles within the Indian military leadership.
