Two Melbourne Greek Australian women are among the contestants vying for the Miss Universe Australia crown this year. Audrey Panagopoulos, 24, and Anastasia Chryssafis, 25, will represent Melbourne’s Greek community as they compete on the national stage. Panagopoulos has built a career in business development and is passionate about empowering young people through leadership and mentoring.
Holding a Bachelor of International Business, she currently works in the trade industry, specialising in marketing, strategy, client relationships and business growth. Through speaking engagements and mentoring, she encourages high school students to explore career pathways that match their strengths and ambitions. She believes financial independence is a powerful tool for creating freedom and opportunity, and hopes to use the Miss Universe Australia platform to inspire women to back themselves, think ambitiously and build their futures on their own terms.
Audrey Panagopoulos Chryssafis is a qualified florist and entrepreneur. Her primary business specialises in importing premium tropical flowers from Vietnam into Australia, supplying florists with unique, high-quality blooms. She has also recently expanded into Australian-made skincare.
