Rising without losing roots

An Indonesian development theme titled "Menjulang tanpa kehilangan akar" ("Rising high without losing roots") focuses on modern urban growth, emphasizing that cities can develop wide streets, towering buildings, modern shopping centers, and advanced infrastructure while preserving their foundational identity and cultural roots.

The initiative addresses the challenge of rapid modernization and urbanization, balancing the physical expansion of metropolitan areas with the retention of local character and community heritage.
