Coordinating Minister encourages Agrinas to build a palm oil ecosystem like Felda Malaysia

Indonesia's Minister of Cooperatives, Ferry Juliantono, has urged PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) to develop a palm oil ecosystem modeled after Malaysia's Felda. The initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen the downstream palm oil sector in the country.

In related developments, the Minister also encouraged plantation sector cooperatives to independently own and manage crude palm oil (CPO) processing plants. This push aims to enhance the role of cooperatives in the agricultural value chain and reinforce national downstream processing capabilities.
