Months collecting bottles: "Plastics for school supplies"

Since January, a family residing in Los Guandules has been systematically collecting plastic bottles from the streets. Although they did not keep an exact count of the items gathered over the months, their objective was consistently focused on accumulating enough plastic to exchange for school supplies.

The initiative, titled "Plásticos por útiles escolares," highlights a grassroots effort to repurpose discarded materials to meet educational needs. By turning street-level waste collection into tangible resources for schooling, the campaign illustrates a direct link between local environmental cleanup and household welfare.
