Met Office issues danger to life warning as Storm Austen approaches

The Met Office has issued weather warnings as Storm Austen approaches the United Kingdom. The alerts include a yellow warning for heavy rain affecting most of central and eastern Scotland throughout Friday.

While the warnings for Scotland focus on rainfall, broader reports indicate the storm system carries a potential danger to life. Authorities are monitoring the situation as the weather event moves across the region.
