Meta must follow Indian law , not just global rules , say government sources after MeitY talks

Government sources in India have directed Meta to ensure its operations strictly adhere to local Indian laws rather than relying solely on its internal global policies. This directive followed formal discussions between company representatives and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
