The Los Alcarrizos Metro will charge regular fares this Monday.

The Empresa Metropolitana de Transporte (EMT) has announced that the free operational period for Line 2-C of the Santo Domingo Metro, located in Los Alcarrizos, will conclude this coming Monday. Beginning on this date, regular fares will take effect for passengers utilizing the transit line.

Alongside the introduction of the standard fare, the transportation authority confirmed that access and exit mechanisms at the various stations along the route will also undergo changes. The transition marks the end of the initial promotional or trial period during which riders accessed the system without charge.
