The Los Alcarrizos Metro will charge regular fares this Monday.

The Metropolitan Transport Company (EMT) has announced that the Los Alcarrizos extension of the Santo Domingo Metro, known as Line 2-C, will transition to its standard fare structure this coming Monday. This change marks the end of the initial period of complimentary service provided to passengers since the line's opening.

In addition to the implementation of regular fares, the transit authority will introduce new protocols for passenger entry and exit at the affected stations. These adjustments represent the final phase of integrating the new line into the city's established public transportation network.
