Metro eliminates transfer at María Montez station for passengers

Effective this Sunday, the Santo Domingo Metro has eliminated the mandatory transfer requirement at the María Montez station for passengers traveling from Los Alcarrizos. Commuters moving along this route will no longer need to switch trains at the station located at kilometer 9 of the Duarte Highway to continue their journey.

This change streamlines the transit process for passengers originating from Los Alcarrizos. Previously, the transfer at the María Montez station served as a necessary connection point for those traveling into the city, and its removal represents a shift in the operational flow of the Metro system.
