Navy seizes more than a ton of cocaine in the Pacific and arrests six people

The Mexican Navy seized approximately 1.17 metric tons of alleged cocaine and detained six individuals during a maritime surveillance operation in the Pacific Ocean. The intervention took place on August 7 at a location 851 kilometers south of Acapulco, Guerrero.

Among the six people arrested during the operation were three Mexican nationals and three Ecuadorian nationals. The operation was carried out by the Secretaría de Marina as part of its routine maritime guard functions.
