Mexico, the undisputed king of Central and Caribbean swimming

Mexico has established a dominant position in the swimming competitions at the Central American and Caribbean Games currently taking place in Santo Domingo. The national team has demonstrated significant athletic strength early in the event, positioning itself to surpass the performance metrics established in previous editions of the games.

Although only one-third of the scheduled activities have concluded, Mexico is already approaching half of the total medal count it secured during the 2023 San Salvador games, where the country achieved 353 medals. This early progress highlights a strong competitive trajectory for the Mexican delegation as the regional tournament continues.
