Actor Mia Goth has criticized Meta and Instagram as "incomprehensible" for allowing an AI-altered selfie to circulate widely on the platform. The digitally manipulated image, which featured Goth wearing a shirt reading "MY EX IS MY BIGGEST FAN," began spreading online on Thursday.
The viral post emerged just days after public reports surfaced regarding Goth filing for divorce from Shia LaBeouf. Goth did not originally post the selfie, but her representatives have condemned the social media company's failure to prevent the spread of the fabricated image.
